I'm happy to transfer any memorials of people I'm not related to.
FIRST please read the FAQs here: Transfers
Then click on the EDIT tab at the top right corner of the memorial and then click
"Suggest any other correction or addition". This will generate an e-mail from Find A Grave with links to the memorial and your member page... less chance for errors this way.
I'm only human and I make mistakes (especially when my "Coffee Low-Level Warning Light" is blinking); so any Edits or additions are gladly welcomed. ^_^
For corrections/additional facts for a memorial,
see here: Corrections
Then click on the EDIT tab at the top right corner of the memorial. It's easy to make edits to Dates/Places, Family Links, Name, Plot/GPS location, and Marker Transcription. For Bio info or to notify me of a duplicate, you still need to click "Suggest any other correction or addition".

Although the headstone shows Patterson for Albert and his wife Ella, succeeding generations have called themselves Pattison, as did he. Why the stone shows Patterson and wasn't disputed at the time, I don't know. My mother was raised by Albert and Ella's daughter Lillian and Ella passed away when my mother was 9 years old. She knew them and they called themselves Pattison.

Rich. Those other messages must be in never never land as the only one I got was the one I answered today. Oh by the way, I too am and Air Force retiree, (23 years), having retired in 1983.
Keep Aiming High.

You're welcome Rich. You can tell from the photo how much of the memorial was covered with sod. It is a shame that our veteran's graves aren't better maintained. Emery

Thanks, Rich. I wasn't aware of the naming conventions. Good to know.
