I was born in Cullman, Alabama and grew up in the Peoria, Illinois area. My husband and I lived in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia for several years during the early years of our marriage. I received my BA from the University of Alabama, and my J.D. From the University of Oklahoma, and I currently live in Mobile, Alabama, where I practice law. I have been married for 40 years and have an adult son.
