Our roots are an important part of who we are and our ancestors are those roots. We may be hundreds of years removed from them, but without them we would not be what, and who, we are today.

It saddens me to hear people comment that they don't care about who their ancestors were. I know of people who couldn't tell you the name or burial place of their grandparents, let alone any other ancestors.

My goal is to make sure that my grandchildren know who and where their ancestors are and how to find them. I am happy to be doing so and hope that I might be able to help others along the way.
