Bio

Diane Huffman, I have been involved in genealogy since 1960. I am presently 75. I am a member of the Natiional Genealogical Association and my local County society. I have given multiple contributions to the Shenandoah County Virginia Library, History Section. This includes family trees on four Families that hae been in that area formerly Frederick County Virginia before 1800. They are Evans, Neff, Pence and Wisman. The librarary also has a CD and printed material of the Neff-Kagey or Kagey-Neff Cemetery near New Market, Shenandoah County, Virginia. I am responsible for the content and organization of this endeavor in name of Neff Family Association. My wish is to have someone contact that library and see if the beautiful pictres done on the stones by James Madison University, Archeology Department could be placed in Find a Grave. I do not live in the state and cannnot travel so I cannot do the process. I am a retired family physician but kept a finger on the typewriter and now computer all these years after reading 4 typed pages that my grandmother did in 1924 that she placed in a book and I found in 1960. I now have time to enjoy reading, quilting and sewing. My scientific background has helped in acquiring facts and proof.
