Bio Photo My name is Jennifer and I've been working on my genealogy since I was 16 years old. It has long been a passion of mine, though I don't have much time to work on it these days. I love this site because I have found a number of pictures of my ancestors/relatives graves that I never would have been able to obtain on my own. I'm trying now to do look-ups for people as I have's nice to be able to give back.

Sybil Murphy #76980159
Correction. After further research, I believe Sybil Murphy is indeed Isabelle's sister and Thomas's birthdate was listed incorrectly as 1823 when it should have been 1828. Apologies.

I am also a descendant of Isabella Mapps Powell - she was my fourth great grandmother. I do not believe Sybil Murphy #76980159 was her sister. Mrs. Murphy's birth date of Sep. 20, 1823 is not compatible with Thomas Mapps' #6447644 birth date of Dec. 27, 1823. I think it is more likely that Sybbyl Null #69357477 is Isabella's sister. (See Please let me know if you know something I don't.

RE: Thanks
My pleasure! Sorry I didn't get this posted sooner...I had taken the photo in April, and realized I had added most of the photos I had taken to the appropriate find-a-grave memorials online, but had overlooked this one.

I am a distant relative to the great-great grandmother was Mary Ellen Pickering. She married Lewis Purcell, and I am a descendant of this marriage. Lewis Purcell died at an early age, and Mary Ellen Pickering re-married, David Pantier being her second husband. David Pantier's brother was Henry Levi Pantier. I hope to get back to Gallatin County sometime within the next year (hopefully sooner than that) and take some more photos of graves. Next time I'll be better prepared and bring a list of photo requests with me.

I'd love to hear back from you and learn if you're related to the Pantiers, and if so, how. Take care!

Alex Doyle
I am searching for info. on Dawn Michelle (Doyle) McGee. I remember Alex well but can not find where he is buried so I can connect Dawn's Memorial to her Daddy.

Thank You; BEAR

RE: Frank Doyle
Sorry it took so long for me to get back with you. Sarah was my grandmother, my mom was her baby girl Edna Lou Ashorth Cain. I also have a living uncle named Frank Addison Ashworth, named after your grandpa.

Beverly Colvin Smith
Wathen Family Genealogy
Hello, my name is Beverly Colvin Smith, the granddaughter of Annie Matilda Wathen from Marion County, Kentucky. I have done an extensive research of the Wathen family. Your ancestor, Thomas Harden Wathen (1883-1955) is found in my work. I will be having my work printed into book form soon if you would be interested. I have spent the past 20+ years working on this and have collected more than 500 news articles, obituaries, etc., as well as 50+ photo's. I have spend many, many, hours at the Libraries in Marion and Washington County, Kentucky. My e-mail address is, if you are interested.
