I got involved in genealogy hoping I could find my great-grandfather who disappeared in 1911. Haven't found him yet, but have found whole branches to my family tree that I didn't know existed, and also many living relatives which has been especially fun and interesting.

I enjoy working on this journey with others. I enjoy being able to add historical information to the names and dates I have for people, as I feel they deserve to be remembered as more than that. I hope to write a book about as many of them as I can to leave for future generations.

When I find someone it is so exciting, like finding gold on a treasure hunt.
