Bio

I am an avid researcher and have been a "Student" of Genealogical Studies for some 42 years. I say student, because life is a series of learning opportunities that never end.

I am a US Air Force Veteran, as is my husband. That's where we met and married back in 1981.

I am happy to help other Veterans or anyone who needs assistance and have many clients that I've made connections for, using DNA testing results and genealogical records.

I am currently working on finding my husband's birth family as he was adopted in Lubbock Texas, in Sep 1955. His adoptive parents told him he was adopted but chose not to divulge who his bio-parents were. He has since taken several DNA tests and we are on the hunt. However, without any clues it is a very daunting task and the state cannot locate his adoption records.

(UPDATE: AUG 2015) We found my husbands birth father and as it turns out he was a very famous Music Icon. Sadly he passed 10 months prior to our discovery. Then in Feb 2017, we finally discovered who his bio-mom was, and she too was deceased. We have discovered siblings and we are taking road trips to make those connections.

Our next stop will be a trip to Scotland to discover more about our scottish families, because as it turns out, my husband is also Scottish!
