We are avid "cemetery explorers" and family historians, and we have benefited greatly from the information posted on Find-A-Grave Memorials. So, as we seek out family members in a cemetery, we try to photograph grave markers to post on memorials without a photograph, and establish memorials where none currently exists. It's our way of "giving back."

Unless the memorial is for family members of our own, we are happy to transfer maintenance of those memorials to their family members. We would much prefer that these memorials be in the care of their families.
