Hello, I am looking for the ever elusive Jacks that migrated from Geo to Alabama around 1860. My gr grandmother was Eliza Jacks that married a John Jackson. I love doing genealogy and find a grave has helped me out alot. I currently live in Sulpher Springs, TX so if anyone is looking for folks in this area I will gladly photo and post...
John Jackson, Edgemont Cem I have found a John Lindon Jackson (1886-1954) at Edgemont. He was married to & buried beside Katie Crowder Jackson (1885-1954). Is this the right one? If so I will post the picture.
McLarry Headstone Photos Thank you for the headstone photos you have posted for my relative, Jessie McLarry, #90063210 and her husband, Clarence McLarry, #90062454. Your work is very much appreciated! Charlotte
T.S. Pearson stone Thank you for finding that: I'd hoped it was there since his second wife was. You mentioned other Pearsons, do you know offhand if there were more than listed at the FindAGrave site? (if you don't, that's fine).
I'm hoping in the next year or so to drive down from Wisconsin,
RE: Whittens Are you from Sulphur Springs? Most of my Whittens are buried in the old Saltillo Cemetery and in the Spence Cemetery on I20. My 2nd great grandfather is buried there (William P Spence). We have a few Whittens in Red River County that we can not connect (Talco, Bogota area). We have an annual reunion at the Old Saltillo Church in August each year. Let me know and I will get them to put you on the list. I have gone to that since I was a kid.
