|I have done genealogy for many years. There is always something new to find or someone to discover. So many people have helped me along the way and this is a little way to help pay it back. Sometimes a picture of the tombstone is the only photo someone has of the person.. Am happy to help all I can...|

|HVickery||My Father's Grave-Never Seen Til You|
My father died in 1973 when I was 3 years old (my sisters were 11 and 17). My 2 sisters and I have never seen his grave stone due to a variety of reasons. Now we have and in time for Fathers' Day. God bless you and thank you.

Thank you very much for the photo.

Sorry that it has taken so long for my reply. There is chance that we may be related. My great grandfather was Andrew J. Snyder. Sadly, both Andrew and my great grandmother Sadie Dykeman Snyder were both ostracized from the family. I know where Sadie is buried through a lot of investigating, but Andrew disappeared from the face of the earth. No one seems to know where he went to, and no one knows who his parent's were or if he had any siblings.
I've been adding as many Snyders to Find a Grave as I can and have been looking into their obituaries hoping to find a connection between them and my Great Grandfather, but so far my efforts have been in vain, but I've not given up the ship.
Should you ever need any help with either Find a Grave or just your family tree in general, please let me know.
For more information on George W. Snyder, you may wish to contact the Franklin Public Library at www.franklinlibrary.org and send a request for information. If memory serves me correctly, George W. Snyder appears in the Snyder / Bump genealogy book. This is not located in the Pennsylvania room, but upstairs in the Pennsylvania Reference section. I know this because I've consulted it a few times and I also work at the Franklin Public Library.
I hope that I've provided you with enough information to make my reply worth the wait.
Here is a link that should take you directly to the card catalogue entry for the Snyder / Bump Book that I mentioned: https://franklinlibrary.follettdestiny.com/cataloging/servlet/presenttitledetailform.do?siteTypeID=-2&siteID=&includeLibrary=true&includeMedia=false&mediaSiteID=&bibID=11963&walkerID=1400373276208
If that doesn't work, just go to our webpage and enter Snyder Bump into our online catalogue.
I hope this helps.
Have a terrific weekend!

GREAT headstone photo!!! Thank you so much for providing this lovely addition to her memorial. I do note last name was misspelled on headstone! Suppose no one noticed? :)
Blessings to you,
Thank you for your time in taking the photos.

|RMW||RE: Elizabeth Crowder|
I am researching on Ancestry.com. There are over 20 trees with Elizabeth. I looked at some of the trees and have looked at census records.

Thank you for adding the picture to Elizabeth's memorial. Can you read the last line on the Stone? Aged ???. I can't read all of it.

Once again, THANK YOU, Vauna, for all your work this week. As a Sanders descendant, I am so very grateful for all the care you've given to the family in Horse Creek Cemetery.
