Bio

I have been doing genealogy since 1998. I started when my mother said I would not be able to find anything about her family due to a fire in the courthouse during the 1890's. She and her sister would drive the two hours to visit the city where their father grew up and drive and visit cemeteries in the area. They would find their surname everywhere but did not know how they were related. She died one year after that challenge and her sister about three years later. Since then I have been able to trace the family back to Germany in the 1700's and identify the graves they visited. I only wish she were around to share in the excitement of the discoveries. I am volunteering to help others find and to fill that void of not knowing, to experience the discoveries of knowing.

I have moved from Alliance, Ohio and now have a vision problem, so I will not be able to take any photographs. I am still able to use a computer and would like to help with any problem you may have.
