I do believe that findagrave.com is a wonderful tool to be used by family researchers. However, it should not be forgotten that the Memorials are about the departed and not only about genealogical data posted to the Memorial page.

It is not often that I create a Memorial; only when a tombstone or grave is located that has not already been posted to the website do I create a Memorial page. I will gladly transfer any Memorial that is not connected to my family.
