I am in search of family history and knowing what of the backgrounds for family members. This all started at my having grandchildren and wanting them to have as much information on their family and where their ancestors hailed from. I believe heritage is important. When I enter cemeteries to take photos of stones, I know there is a real person in there, whether or not they are still breathing. They were born, lived and passed on. What went on in their era, their lives in between those dates recorded on their stones. I know I once read a quip about how we spend our dashes (the dash between birthdate and death date). It's an important matter and I want to make the most of my dash!
I am interested in helping others with their research and photo requests as well. It is the preservation of life and memories and somehow helps us feel connected to those relatives and Grandparents we never got to meet. I love bringing that to life!
I am willing to transfer any memorials I have added that are not related to me. I feel memorials are best with their family members as there is a sentimental value to keeping their information and photos and links with those who share their tree.

Joseph and Mary Zalokar
Hi Kathleen,
I might have forgotten to thank you for the Zalokar marker photos last May. Now I am catching up. The Zalokars are my niece's relatives and I am tracing them for her.
Thanks,
John

All Souls
A job well done on catching up on all the photo requests at All Souls. It wasn't long ago that the list of requests seemed insurmountable. I know that you have made many families very happy with your efforts. Great job.

Mildred Yacobet,All Souls Cemetery
Thanks very much for the photo of Mildred's marker. I also just requested a photo of her husband's marker (Russell) also at All Souls. Had neglected to request a photo of his marker. I'm grateful for your help.
