I am in search of family history and knowing what of the backgrounds for family members. This all started at my having grandchildren and wanting them to have as much information on their family and where their ancestors hailed from. I believe heritage is important. When I enter cemeteries to take photos of stones, I know there is a real person in there, whether or not they are still breathing. They were born, lived and passed on. What went on in their era, their lives in between those dates recorded on their stones. I know I once read a quip about how we spend our dashes (the dash between birthdate and death date). It's an important matter and I want to make the most of my dash!
I am interested in helping others with their research and photo requests as well. It is the preservation of life and memories and somehow helps us feel connected to those relatives and Grandparents we never got to meet. I love bringing that to life!
I am willing to transfer any memorials I have added that are not related to me. I feel memorials are best with their family members as there is a sentimental value to keeping their information and photos and links with those who share their tree.

I did recently subscribe to Ancestry for six months, and the 1940 census record was where the confusion crept in--that and Abner Brice Nethers living nearby. Thanks for your input.

I'm not related to her directly and don't even have her name in my FTM file. I'm not sure why I created it in the first place. I have the Steve and Nettie in my tree. I'd gladly transfer the memorial over to you.

No I am not related to this Pierce line, I did confirming research to confirm she was the mother of Lydia.

Best regards
