I am in search of family history and knowing what of the backgrounds for family members. This all started at my having grandchildren and wanting them to have as much information on their family and where their ancestors hailed from. I believe heritage is important. When I enter cemeteries to take photos of stones, I know there is a real person in there, whether or not they are still breathing. They were born, lived and passed on. What went on in their era, their lives in between those dates recorded on their stones. I know I once read a quip about how we spend our dashes (the dash between birthdate and death date). It's an important matter and I want to make the most of my dash!
I am interested in helping others with their research and photo requests as well. It is the preservation of life and memories and somehow helps us feel connected to those relatives and Grandparents we never got to meet. I love bringing that to life!

No I am not related to this Pierce line, I did confirming research to confirm she was the mother of Lydia.

Best regards

Change of heart. I have transferred them to you. But I am begging you not to delete the info I have added, nor delete the memorials themselves. I have had that happen all too often when I have transferred memorials. After spending months documenting and photographing a cemetery, it is heartbreaking to find the work has been lost. If you should ever tire of them, please return the memorials to me. Thanks.

Actually, I would prefer to hang to them as I am slowly but surely documenting this cemetery. I would, however, be delighted to add any additonal info you might like to see included, giving you credit of couse.

If you go here, you can view and print the death certificate:
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X67H-3G4.

The census record is here:

Barbara's death is here:

The obit was from the Cleveland Necrology file which is composed of microfilm transcriptions held by the Cleveland Public Library. I don't believe you can access them any more than the transcription I have pasted in. Hope this helps.

Old photos do tell of the past..that is why I relentlessly pursue them...I would never had known what my great grandfather looked like, had I not asked around. He is handsome and my Grandmother looks like him, and I see him in mine and other cousins children...it is wonderful, preserving history.

Eby obit
I thought that Henry Eby was your GG Grandfather, and you would want his grave? Do you still need his full obit? Did you get the obit on Bessie?

Kathleen:

I'm pretty sure you'd mentioned the stones were rather worn, but you did identify the one I was interested in. Thanks.

Kathleen:

Thanks much for the photo. I'm assuming there was no birth/death date or name on the stones? At any rate, I appreciate it. Again, thank you.
