you are very welcome
|cham10_0||many many thanks|
Thank you so very very much for photographing the grave of my great great ancestor A Staniforth who died in 1945 in WW2.
To see such a beautiful tribute to him brought a tear to my eye & that would not have been possible without you, so thank you. You truly do a lovely thing!

Thank you so very much for taking the photo of my cousin's final resting place. It means so much to me.
Many many thanks for the two photos from Florence. They have been on my list of wants for nearly 5 years. Two more ticked off.

I came across your name while leaving a photo request (for my cousin Alec Jesse Pallant) to the submitter of the Benghazi War Cemetery on the Find-A-Grave site. I received a notice that my photo request was going to be unfilled for a while as there were no volunteers living within 50 miles of the cemetery. There was also a notification of the political unrest in the area. I'm sure that you received the same messages.
I'm writing to let you know how I solved my dilemma, and to tell you how you can get your photos for John Pool, Edward Boddie and Harry Burman. You can go to The War Graves Photographic Project (twgpp.org) and request a search on the right hand side of the page. When the next page opens, click on the name and a photo of the headstone will come up. The direct links to each of the three headstone photo pages are:
http://twgpp.org/information.php?id=2236701 for John Pool
http://twgpp.org/information.php?id=2236033 for Edward Boddie
http://twgpp.org/information.php?id=2236076 for Harry Burman
For a small fee, the TWGPP will either e-mail or snail-mail you a copy of the photos without the copyright markings on the photos. Once we got Alec Jesse's photos, I contacted TWGPP and requested permission to upload the photos into Alec's Find-A-Grave site. They very graciously allowed me to do that. And I, of course made sure to give photographic credits to TWGPP.
It's a sort of round-about way to get the photos and get them uploaded into Find-A-Grave, but it worked for me! I hope it helps you too! I'm going to tell the other families who put in photo requests…
Good luck in your research!
