I grew up in the Karber's Ridge region of beautiful Southern Illinois in Hardin County. |
I have enjoyed finding and taking pictures of the headstones of my family and it would be an honor to capture photos of your family members headstones for you too.
I am willing to search local libraries to find any articles pertaining to the past history of your loved ones as well.

|Lily Virdell||Nice to meet you|
Dear Jo Anne, I did a little research and we share a common ancestor--Daniel Vinyard (1777-1847). He is my 4X great grandfather and your 3X great grandfather. His child Martha Patsy (Vinyard) Ginger had a son John Franklin Ginger whose daughter Eliz. Ann (Ginger) Renfro was my great grandmother. Your line is of course, a direct line from Daniel to George J. to Lewis to Elmer.
After a little looking I finally found the memorial for Lewis but the military marker has botched the year of his birth. I'm wondering why you have not added more info. to your grandfather's memorial? Would it be Ok for me to add the two children they lost; 2 yr old Ida and 9 yr old Ernest? Let me know and let's exchange info. especially since I live in Missouri and have never been to Hardin Co., Thanks again and nice to meet you. Lily

I'm not sure? I'll check. My grandfather had several brothers and sisters. His mother died yound and his father remarried and had several more children. I believe there were 17 Kingstons in that family. I'll check ancestry.com...

Jo Anne, I just discovered that Martha's son Claude Giles is also buried in the Webber Campground Cem. If you run across his tombstone, I'd appreciate a pix. His number is 97988851. Thanks a mil.

Jo Anne thank you very much for your offer. I am excited to be learning about my Irish anscestors. Hopefully their graves are findable and there are markers to see. Someday my family will visit them. Thank you again. We will put whatever you send in a family history that I am writing. Sincerely, Stan Zemula
