I am Lisa Kae Meeker Hathaway. My family line includes Overholtzer, Grove, Meeker, Mark (Mork in Norway), MacIntire, Fillman, and Roth. My husband James family line includes Hathaway, Roshong, Garhart, Levy, DeHaven, Diamond, and Westergom (Westergon). I started my genealogy research when my children were little, then life got really crazy and my research took a back seat.
I had recently started up with my research again when I found Find A Grave. I love Find A Grave. It is a great way to connect to your past and with other people of the same mind set.
When I was young my parents would take our family cemetery hopping to visit family members that had past and discover more about our heritage. Through my parents' example I developed a strong sense of family and a love of visiting cemeteries. Find A Grave gives me a venue to express my family values, discover more of my family legacy and help others to find their family legacy. I love Find A Grave.
I am honored to become a photo volunteer to take pictures for others who are not able to visit the cemeteries in my area. Just send me your request and I will glady take photos of family members that have past. I live in Bechtelsville, PA which in Berks County and close to Lehigh and Montgomery Counties.
We are our ancestors immortality, through us they live on. They are our legacy, the ones who helped bring us into being. Honoring their memories and connecting to each other is our priviledge.
