While my focus these days are my home cemetery, Laurel Hill, I still find myself checking in with other nearby cemeteries. I find it very peaceful to walk among the headstones and just read what they say about the people buried there.
My sister and I are currently working on a project to identify and write the bios of Mason County war dead. What a labor of love it has been. It is generating a large amount of suggested edits and requests to link our veterans to their family members. Please bear with us as we work on this project. Our veterans deserve to have their stories told.
We do not have a problem with families using the photos that we post as that is why we am doing it. It would be nice if you gave us credit for the photo.
