My great great grandmother is Permelia A Thetford...she first married Ephram Kea - and they had my great grandfather - Vincent Louis Kea - -
Ephram died in the Civil War - His cousin was in the same company - but he made it home - - and he married my great great grandmother - - so now is is Permelia A (Thetford) Kea Lee..
and now she and David Lee have two children (1870 Calhoun County, MS) - - By 1880 - - I have lost Permelia and David .. But their two daughters are living with David's sister.... My great grandfather is now grown ..
Anyway - her parents James and Elizabeth (McCrory) Thetford migrated to Limestone County, Texas - where they are buried - - along with much of their children, grandchildren, etc.
So - - I just look at all the Thetford kin - - non-kin - - hoping to get a lead on my Permelia - - I hate to think that both she and David died before the 1880 census - but it appears that way - - I just don't know where or when.
I looked at #8587203, but that is the memorial for a Viola Irene Jones, buried in California. I then looked for Dorothy Harrison at Cook-Walden; couldn't find her listed, but there seem to be multiple cemeteries under that name. Maybe I wasn't looking in the correct one.
Until I get better info from you, I can't really compare them. If mine is a duplicate, I'll gladly add a note and her surname at death to the St. Bonaventure memorial, but leave it in place, so no one else makes the same mistake.
Memorial 86545387 & 100492167 Rec'd your reply; sounds like a plan! Hope you are successful in getting Memorial# 86545387 transferred to you & getting her maiden name & family links added. I will eventually delete Memorial# 100492167 (I've updated her BIO until then).
