Hi, I came across Find A Grave while researching my family tree. As I was going around local graveyards (Chester, England, UK) looking for relatives I couldn't help but notice how many graves were delaminating/ fading away/ damaged. As I have found them such a useful resource I thought it was quite sad. I decided I would try and photograph/ transcribe every gravestone I came across so they would not be lost forever. If you want me to look for anyone specific in the Chester area feel free to ask and I will try and help if I can. Also if you want to take copies of any of my photos for personal use you are welcome to do so, and if you have a better photo of a grave, please upload it as I try to take the best I can on the day but it does depend on the weather and lighting. I'm always pleased to accept any edits /family photos to the memorials. Also if you would like me to transfer any graves to yourself please let me know.
