>>>>>>>>>>>April 2014 Temporarily not taking any pictures presently - broken ankle - be back ASAP!
Update: May 15 - starting to hobble about a bit!!!
June 20 - ready to go (I think) but the heat might keep me out of the cemeteries until the weather cools....
I LOVE Find a Grave! I have received lots of help in researching my family tree and I just would like to PAY IT FORWARD. My friend who helps me, and I, used to do geo-caching but we like the grave hunting better!!! I especially like the challenge in finding hard to locate graves and will not give up until I find it, if it can indeed be found. I want to see EVERY grave on line. I am just doing my little part to help make that happen.
My volunteer photos can be used freely by anyone, anywhere, no credit necessary as I consider them in the public domain. I promote freely sharing information, as in crowd sharing makes us smarter!I love to find and photo graves to share with families.
I generally do not create memorials but would gladly transfer any memorial if needed , you only have to ask. Later if I can no longer take pictures, I may like to start adding memorials.
If I make any mistakes, feel free to let me know in the most convenient way for you. I would love to correct any mistake as quickly as possible.
If I request a photo I would like to be able to use the photo anywhere, anytime, please do not claim my pic requests unless you agree that I can use the pic as I see fit. Just leave it for another volunteer who will 'give me' the pic, if you would like to retain the copyright please pass me by. Thanks in Advance!
We can also do look ups for Obits and any other items, at no charge (ever for anything) on an 'as time allows basis'. Send me a separate email with a list for Obits: Name, Death Date, and Death Location - Worcester County Only.
If you see any of my pics or my memorials that are your relatives also, please drop me a line - I would love to get a chance to talk about our ancestors.
I have been working on my tree for 4 yrs. My direct lines:
>Kane/Lynskey/Heagney/Rowbottom - Barker/Bessette/Prentiss/Ducharme.
My 3 grandchildren's direct lines:
BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER. - Ellen Degeneres

I did not record a plot number which means I did not find the headstone on the plot maps at Moshassuck. That happened a lot for "Groups" A thru D which are located on the right side of the cemetery as you drive in. Bear right past the house, road goes 90 degress left around the corner and those Groups are on the right. Lots of flat stones there and will not be easy to find. Sorry I could not help more!

I checked on the website but there is no Louis Bessette listed and I do not have one listed in my spreadsheet for the cemetery. No listing under different spellings either. Can you give me the memorial number?

Fear not. Right now I am in the Darby Township cemeteries just looking to see if I have all those listed. Working on the Rhoda and Jeremiah family. It's still a slow go for me. Some days I can sit here forever, others (like today), I am up and down. At least the Vac is gone.
I'll be praying for your ankle.. take it slow and easy please. No Rush. If you see anything at all, even barely readable, get it. Maybe between the two of us, we'll find the whole family. Pretty sure though, some markers are forever lost.

Oh thank you so much! I have a 241 page list so, I go through and then go through again. I am retired so, I have tons of time on my hands. I look forward to seeing who you have!
I already looked at Mary's, thank you for that too. I had no clue how large that cemetery is until I hit the name of the cemetery to see who else is there! WOW!
Take care, be careful and we will have bad weather overnight here.
You poor thing!! This is not my first rodeo (injuries) by any means but, it is the most bothersome since, as soon as we think it's healed, it comes back. Add my age factor and this getting old is just that.. getting old! Hoping this time, it's done.. they found a sizeable Gallstone, left from 2009 surgery, embedded in my muscle tissues so, it's gone.. perhaps and just maybe..
I did get you straight on the Elizabeth and Betsey??? Right?

The Telegram archive online only goes back to 1989. If you live in Worcester or near, you can go to the Worcester Public Library and look for the obits. They are on microfilm. The old Jewish Civic Leader is on microfilm at the Worcester Historical Museum. When I was there a few years ago, they had no microfilm reader. At some point I would like to get that microfilm indexed and available online.
