HI There! I am MaryAlice.|
I LOVE Find a Grave! I have received lots of help in researching my family tree and I just would like to PAY IT FORWARD. My friend who helps me, and I, used to do geo-caching but we like the grave hunting better!!! I especially like the challenge in finding hard to locate graves and will not give up until I find it, if it can indeed be found. I want to see EVERY grave on line. I am just doing my little part to help make that happen.
My volunteer photos can be used freely by anyone, anywhere, no credit necessary as I consider them in the public domain. I promote freely sharing information, as in crowd sharing makes us smarter!I love to find and photo graves to share with the family member making the pic request.
I generally do not create memorials but would gladly transfer any memorial if needed , you only have to ask. Later if I can no longer take pictures, I may like to start adding memorials.
If I make any mistakes, feel free to let me know in the most convenient way for you. I would love to correct any mistake as quickly as possible.
If I request a photo I would like to be able to use the photo anywhere, anytime, please do not claim my pic requests unless you agree that I can use the pic as I see fit. Just leave it for another volunteer who will 'give me' the pic, if you would like to retain the copyright please pass me by. However, I will be happy to attach your name to the picture, as the photographer - if you require it, where ever I re-use the picture. Thanks in Advance!
We can also do look ups for Obits and any other items, at no charge (ever for anything) on an 'as time allows basis'. Send me a separate email with a list for Obits: Name, Death Date, and Death Location - Worcester County Only.
If you see any of my pics or my memorials that are your relatives also, please drop me a line - I would love to get a chance to talk about our ancestors.
I have been working on my tree for 4 yrs. My direct lines:
>Kane/Lynskey/Heagney/Rowbottom - Barker/Bessette/Prentiss/Ducharme.
My 3 grandchildren's direct lines:
BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER. - Ellen Degeneres

Please look at the memorial for Henry. I have posted two photos. One of the front and one of the back side of the memorial on Lot # 30. The reason I missed it is, as I was walking thru Section 6B I came upon a marker for BERNIER. This is in my family tree. My attention was redirected at the time and the Lajeunesse/Arsenault stone was right behind the Bernier stone. My eyes and mind must have registered it and that is why when I came home I knew I had to go back and check.

I was at Notre Dame today. I posted a photo of the area of section 6B. I did not find any marker. Now that I am at home and looking at the list of names I received from the cemetery record, I may have walked right past it. I will go back in a few days with camera in hand and take another look.
I feel so horrible. I just went to Find A Grave and was looking at the Bacon Family and just realized the enormous amount of research and work you did to make this fractured family come together. I am so sorry that it has taken me 2 years almost to the date to realize what you have done for me. You took an impossible puzzle and put it all together for me. I go off on tangents and finally returned to this one and realized with Ancestry/Find A Grave all the pieces you have put together. What an awesome job you have done. And so well documented. Please accept my deepest regrets for not acknowledging your work sooner. And yes those are all burial dates which I have now documented. I admire your dedication to Find A Grave and am very grateful for the hours you took in my families behalf. My the Lord Bless you! Kathy

Adding photo of this headstone. I couldn't tell if any of the surrounding graves were of possible relatives (i.e., no other Madigans around it). If you can suggest possible names, I'll take a look next time I'm there.
