RE: A question
Rick I cannot tell by my photo but I will go this spring and get that for you. My home town is Temple. If I can get there before spring maybe Jan thaw I will try. You are in my book of requests for spring look-ups. Have a great day.

RE: Grace G. Packard
I looked at an enlarged version of the photo I posted, and can't make out anything more. The originals I stored on my desktop which is unassailable right now.
What I can read is: Died Jan 20, 1892
Aged 29 yrs
5 mos & (something)2 dys.

I'm pretty sure of the death date, but once I can access my desktop, I'll double check.

RE: Beriah
Thanks Rick for everything! Volunteers like you are what this site is all about. I'm sure Beriah must have had a tombstone at one time. he was very well to do and had sons well off also. Maybe it has completely deteriorated? That would be a shame. I'd think he would be buried next to his wife, Lois Wells.

Hope Cemetery

I was wondering if you are still taking volunteer photos in Hope Cemetery, Newark Valley, NY? Back in 2012 you took a photo for Lois Wells, #79862231. I really need a photo for her husband Beriah Wells, same cemetery. Another member submitted a photo request back in 2012, but it hasn't been fulfilled. If you are still doing these photos I would really appreciate it if you could try to find the marker for Beriah. I am doing the gen. research for my husband to join the Mayflower Society through Beriah's line and the potential tombstone dates would help me to verify his birth/death dates. Thanks so much!

Good Day,
If you can obtain a location from Bayview at the address below, I would be more than willing to get your photo.

Red Alert

Seeing as how you look a bit like Jonathan Frakes, perhaps I should have said "Make it so, Number One!" ;)

June Soule 1916 vs. 1917

Hello Rick,

Thanks for that catch.

Yes, they are two separate people. I have deleted the memorial.

RE: Horace Gammon
I'm unrelated to this person.

I found the information on this cemetery from another on-line text listing of persons buried in this cemetery and manually entered them into findagrave as a public service.

So I don't have any first hand knowledge for this information or historical data to back the data.

There is a local person in Lordsburg that has provided me several suggestions which I incorporated. I believe the links, bio and other data probably originated from her research. Her findagrave ID is Nancy (#46802881). She may be able to provide additional information.

If not, let me know and maybe I can research it some more for you on

RE: Photo attribution
Hi Rick - always great to find new gravestones for those we've helped in the past. The quest just seems to continue on....
Please feel free to use the photos for your own personal genealogical endeavors - they are there to help other researchers as they come along. Credit to Dale & Patti Mower would be awesome!
