My GGF Rev.George Washington Newbern who is buried @ Dupont Ga. Clinch Co. North Cemetery served in the Clinch 4th Georgia Cavalry. I am attempting to locate and document EACH member of his Regiment or at least him Company I
Any info on these patriots would be appreciated.
ALSO anyone knowing of EXACT burial location of his Father & Grand Father BOTH named Thomas Newbern would be appreciated. They settled in the then county of Appling Co. Ga., then latter in the Pierce & Ware Co. Ga.
