Hi Merleen, After reading the "Orphan Train" I remembered my mother talking about her aunt that was adopted from an orphan train. My great grandfather was John Nicholas George. I recognize the picture on your website of Mary George Juttner from a photo I have of the John Nicholas George family and in a caption of the photo it mentions that Mary was adopted from an orphan train. Is this the same Mary George? It also notes that the photo was taken in 1900, so if these Marys are the same person, then the dates don't add up. Please help me make sense of this. Thanks so much.

I've transferred your nephew's memorial to you. It is so sad that he died so young.

Merlene - this memorial has a death date of 1891. His stone shows 1935. I wanted to check with you for a death date if you have one before I request a correction.

It's such a shame that they don't have a marker as much money as you pay to be buried you should give you marker.

Just wanted to let you know I added Ruby and Alvah Ellison photos to their memorials.

You're welcome, Merleen, it was a beautiful day to visit the cemetery and always fun to find requests along the way.
I enjoyed reading the story of your Aunt on her page. She sounds like she was a very impressive woman and I would've liked to have met her.

You're quite welcome... I had to check with the cemetery manager to get the location and they were nice enough to confirm it with me. It's right on the west edge of the "old" part of the cemetery... well maintained, but obviously without a marker.
