I am the son of Arnold Arden Allen Jr and grandson of Arnold A Allen Sr. I was born and raised around the greater Lansing, MI area. Enlisted in the US Army 1983, retired 2008, served combat tours in Grenada (Urgent Fury), Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom) and a smattering of interesting places in between. I now work for a international network hardware company and live outside of Raleigh, NC with my wife and daughter.

As a student of history I have always had a keen interest in family genealogy. I stumbled across Find A Grave while researching my family history on Ancestry.Com. I have met some cousins that I have never met before and hope to discover more as I continue on this journey.
