I am the mother of 5 sons; 3 killed by a speeding, drunk driver on a cell phone. Since the crash on October 10, 2004, we have had the opportunity to share our story over 250 times with young and old about the consequences of the choices, and how those choices impact others. All three of our sons were sober and wearing seat belts; the drunk driver that survived was not wearing his seat belt.

Since the crash I have joined the DAR and enjoy researching my heritage, from great-grandparents who were born in Sweden and in Norway, to ancestors who took part in the American Revolutionary War effort.

Before the crash we were studying history through our heritage, and seeing how God used difficult circumstances to bring us to where we are. Life is Hard; God is good; and Heaven awaits us.
