RE: William LaValla
My pleasure. I thought I was going to fail as the stone was buried and not visible.. The caretaker just happened to be at the cemetery. We found the location and probed the dirt. We found and dug up the stone.

Hi Karen,
It was my pleasure to fulfill your request. Mountain View Mausoleum is a beautiful memorial to the Italian Renaissance period with ceiling murals, sculptures and water features. If you have other requests, feel free to contact me.

Hamden Plains Cemetery

I am in the process of posting a number of photos that I took at Hamden Plains Cemetery in Hamden, CT in 2011. I didn't realize that Gustave Linke had a photo request when I posted a so-so photo, a bit overgrown. I also have a photo of the grave of Harriet, but her stone is even more overgrown. I just checked, and you have a photo request for her grave marker as well. The question is, should I post it? Once posted, you won't be able to do another photo request. I'm not sure when I'll get to that cemetery again, so I'll leave it up to you. Another option is ... you could e-mail me and I could reply and send you the photo and you can decide whether you want to post it or wait for a better shot. The grave marker is only about 50% visible with leaves, etc. Please let me know,
(Section E photo #3928)
