|I live in Athens-Clarke County Georgia. I can try to fulfill photo requests in Athens-Clarke County and the surrounding counties: Oconee, Oglethorpe, Madison, Jackson, and Barrow. Right now I am working a lot in Watkinsville Cemetery and Oconee Memorial Park.|

Hi Richard. Are you related to Peter? He was a half brother to my great grandfather, Augustus John S Weaver.

I was happy to finally be there! I had looked twice for this family cemetery. My Dunwoody Preservation Trust (DPT) buddy drove me there and then walked me to it. The DPT had 13 known cemeteries within it's loving arms but since the development of the City of Brookhaven came about, we lost Salathel Adams to Brookhaven. Sometime in the future, I expect a cleanup to be done. Until then though, sometime I hope within the next 30 days, I hope to go over with a rake and rake where the intentions are to locate John's stone.
I'll keep you posted my friend.

I did locate the family in an earlier census which had them living in the Cayuse, Oregon area which is very near Pendleton, but I'm not aware of a cemetery out there. The next time I'm at pendleton's local cemetery, I'll check with the office to see if they are aware of one.

Hi. Was just curious as to why you photographed the grave marker - when I had already photographed and posted the photo on Findagrave?

My pleasure, Richard.
Arlington Memorial Cemetery is the largest cemetery in town. Many requests have been ignored for years because of its size. But, I have already fulfulled about eighty requests because I took the time to learn the section and plot layout. I usually go to the library to see where the requested individual is buried, and look at my map. I like to time myself from the time I start hunting, to the time I find the grave. I found the Geren's in about two minutes !
Just curious: how are you kin to the Geren's ? Also, do you have other relatives that may be buried here ?

I couldn't find Sarah in the cemetery off the old road the family use to live off of.
I'll keep searching. My guess is her headstone is destroyed and lost to the ages.

Evidence looks good to me! Thanks! I've added it to his memorial. We should probably ask for the others as well - Hugh, Infant, Julia, Johnny, and then I wonder if Opal would now be there as well.
