I don't know where he is buried. No worries. I'll wait until I find out.

Thanks for letting me know that with snow covering the markers now (just like here in Montana) it will be pretty much impossible to get any pictures until Spring. In the meantime, I'll try to find the plot locations.

On the subject of trying to fulfill Photo Requests in the snow--I did one about a month ago, and it was borderline. I had to brush some snow off, and my footprints in the snow made for what I considered a sub-standard photo (and my standards aren't very high--just clear and legible...). If someone enters more requests in our local cemetery this winter I will report the problem of snow covering the markers. Having that problem reported in no way prevents anyone else from claiming and fulfilling the request if they want to. It just lets them know what problems they may be facing. And the simple report: "winter" doesn't need any further explanation for those of us who live in the parts of the country that get real winters.

So because its winter ( I assume you mean snow on the ground) you flagged my request? Was this really necessary? I suspect not. If you want to photograph graves I really appreciate that, but if your not going to take a picture because its Winter, that is fine too, however leave the request alone because another volunteer may come along and take the picture. Other volunteers do take photos even when there is snow on the ground, and your flag may cause someone else not to even look at my request. So in the future if your not taking photos because its winter, or there is snow on the ground, or for any reason other than you can't find the grave, I recommend that you (do not flag) just ignore the request. Thanks Rick

I guess we'll just have to wait for a thaw!

grave location
Should have known there would be snow. I have the same problem here in Maine.

Sorry that I didn't see a note on the page where it says "no marker." Please forgive me for taking up your time. No need to take pics.

Thanks again! Sorry for the typos in the message I just sent. My cat jumped on my desk and pressed the send key before I could edit my reply. I really appreciate all the photos that you have taken! Best, Sonja
