|J. Spaulding||Memorial# 112993062 for Eula Mae NIX|
Regarding Memorial# 112993062 for Eula Mae NIX, daughter of Henry Valentine & Mary Etta LAWSON NIX. Eula married Reynolds MARTIN.
Off Hwy 5, Liberty Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Walker County, Alabama
Is a different cemetery than
Off Old Flatwood Road, Liberty Grove Cemetery in Nauvoo, Walker County, AL (sometimes called New Flatwoods Cemetery). GPS: T13S R9W S4
I show a grave marker for Eula Mae NIX MARTIN in Liberty Grove Cemetery Off Old Flatwood Road, in Nauvoo ... SAME CEMETERY where her parents are also buried.
This NIX family are cousins thru my father.
Could you verify that Eula is actually buried off Hwy 5, Liberty Grove Baptist Church Cemetery?
If not, I need to get this CORRECTED.
Consider transferring Eula to J. Spaulding (#47270590)
Thank you kindly,

|Roger Gant||Wallace Allen Parker Jr.|
Just noticed the listing for Wallace Allen Parker Jr. at Shady Grove Cemetery. He wasn't buried at Shady Grove but rather Tarbet Cemetery that is located on his own property. His Find-a-grave memorial is: Find A Grave Memorial# 135812892

I wanted to add to mothers bio. It doesn't have a transfer tab. Can you help me do this? The grave recorder transferred daddy's to me.

Thanks to you for your excellent work posted on Find A Grave. It has been of immense assistance in my continuing search for ancestral family members--Rainey family in Hardin County, TN, is an example of thoroughness & accuracy!

Thank you for your prompt reply to my query. The information I have been using was the data gathered by other members of the family, and I just assumed (really bad thing to do in genealogy) that the reported info was correct. Since last we spoke, I decided to ask Daddy if he remembered anyone ever discussing which grandmother is buried beside Grandpa Abner. He stated that when he was a child, Grandpa Mac (Christopher James Columbus McDaniel) told him Grandpa Abner was buried between both wives. This was news to me because, for whatever reason, we have not talked about this particular mystery. It does make more sense than having one lost wife. Now, it is time to determine which wife is buried on his right and which on his left. My vote goes to Elizabeth Edna being buried on his right, mostly because of tradition; but at this point, we will probably never know unless I am blessed to uncover a forgotten note somewhere, sometime. Now, to the remaining mysteries surrounding Abner such as what happened to Elizabeth E, born to Abner and Unity in about 1863. Evidence I have uncovered so far suggests she must have died before age 10. Also, this time period suggests there must be other children not yet discovered. This is simply what makes genealogy so fascinating: "The thrill of the hunt!!!"
Thank you again for you kindness. I'm sorry I imposed on your time, but I feel I have a new genealogy friend. Have a great week and "Happy Hunting!!!"!
