It's possible that you have Margaret's sister, Nancy, confused with another. Margaret's parents were John Coffee (b. 1776, d. 1845) and Elizabeth Rucker (b. 1787, d 1855). If her sister, Nancy, was actually b. 1784, she would have been 3 years older than her mother and her father would have been 9 years old when she was born.
My Nancy Coffey was b. 12 Jan 1811, d. 20 Nov 1896. She was in the 1880 census with Isaac and Margaret but if you read the whole description of her she was listed as "idiotic", "cannot read" and "cannot write". Therefore, it is logical to conclude that, she never married and she lived with Isaac, and Margaret, until her death.
You can find her tombstone at Find-a-Grave Memorial # 38041393. If I can be of any further help let me know.

I'm sorry, but I'm not related to the Beasley family. I made the memorial page strictly from the death notice I found in the paper. I'd be happy to transfer the page to you, if you'd like. Just let me know.

Glad to have helped a bit. Best of luck with your ancestry. Kent Smith

Hello again Gloria,
Thanks for the reply. But just out of curiosity go ahead and check the dates on your lineage. A 34th g-grandfather represents 37 generations (with the grandfather, father & you). With 572 years between you and old George, that would be about 15 years average per generation, which I guess is physically possible. But Charlemagne, for example, is considered about a 34th great-grandfather ancestor to most Europeans and he lived in the year 800.
Good luck again. You live in a beautiful state. Kent Smith

Good luck with your research, but please recheck the lineage from George Douglas (1378-1402). I don't think it's really possible for him to be a 34th g-grandfather. He's my 17th g-grandfather, which would put about 400 years between us. You look younger than I do. Kent Smith
Gloria-Thank you for the updates, and a big thank you for all of your work in Garrard County! Laura.

Thanks for your work on this. I do have a death certificate and an announcement indicating that my grandmother was buried there. My dad told me once that the cemetery was relocated or some tombstones were relocated. Any other suggestions for where I can find more information?
