|I have an interest in Maine cemeteries and genealogy. I often walk through cemeteries up the coast in Maine and try to take photos of tombstones that are falling and breaking as it is sad to see. I am willing to share those photos as some descendants may never get a chance to see the actual tombstone. I take many photos of the same tombstone to include closeups and of course am reluctant to get rid of them. If I have taken the photo and you want copies of any other related to the monument and/or tombstone for your personal use just leave me a message so that I can email them to you.|
Any photos that I have uploaded may be copied for your personal use only. None of the photos may be placed on another website, sold or bartered or used for commercial purposes.
If you want to use the photos for your personal use genealogy tree please feel free to do so but do not load them on Ancestry.com as the tos there states that they can then do what they wish with the photo.
Almost all of the memorials I have entered are a result of "mowing rows" in larger cemeteries and photographing the whole smaller cemeteries.
I am way behind in posting the photos. If you want photos of a memorial I created you can use the request a photo option or you can leave me a message with the memorial names and numbers.

Hello, Thank you for all the work you've done on this site.
Regarding the above memorial, it is for one of my ancestors in Massachusetts, but I am curious how you came by this information as you seem focused in Maine. There are children missing from this record, as Martha and Arthur had 7 children, not just four.
Would love to hear from you, as I''m visiting relatives in MA this weekend and we're talking about our ancestry.

There is already a photo request submitted for James Small; so I thought I might go this route to see if you would be so kind as to post a photo of:

Thanks for the photo.
Hi again...I just noticed I have some Memorials in Hill Cemetery, Gouldsboro, Hancock, Maine and you do as well. I tried to look it up but could not find out anything about it. Do you know if it has a different name? There's no photo on the page in Find A Grave. Just wondering...:0)..Thank you.. Wendy

I just wanted to take a minute and thank you so much for taking the photo of Samuel Wasserman's grave marker. I appreciate it very much as this helps me to know that this is actually not the Samuel that I am looking for but might be some sort of relationship to the Wasserman family I am seeking.
Thank you ,
