RE: Ann Peters
Thanks for the link to Ann Peter's tombstone photo. I did remove my request although I was hoping someone would take a high quality photograph so I could read the epitaph at the bottom. The online photo is a low resolution, not ideal for my needs. Thank you for your time!

John McNamar
You're right. The stone is not readable. Still, it 's good to know that and to see it. Many thanks.

But that is very Good, and I thank you very much

McNamara request
Thank You so much for taking the time to find John McNamar(ah) grave, You can post His Headstone pic if you wish, or send it to me, either way

You said he was surrounded by McNamar graves were you able to tell if they were women or men? he had two wives, and one or both might be buried in that same hand I can't remember who else might be buried there,I'd have to look it up, but I would imagine they are all related to John

Thanks, Shar R.

RE: Nance Headstones - Farmers Point Cemetery
I appreciate your offer to try again, however, I don't expect you too. I am sorry for the trouble you had the first time but I was only going on the memorial information when I requested it. I live in California and can't walk the cemeteries myself. I
just appreciate those of you that are willing to do it.

Nance Headstones - Farmers Point Cemetery
I received a notice today that there is a problem with the photo request for Elizabeth Nance and Cary Nance. I am sorry for any trouble to you. I assumed they were buried there since the memorials were listed in Farmers Point Cemetery. Elizabeth's was posted by Charles W Brown back in 2008. He is no longer managing any of the memorials he created and Find a Grave now has them. Elizabeth's maiden name was BINGLEY she married James Goldsby,he was the sheriff of Menard County, and is buried in Farmers Point. Two of their children,Polly Purkpile and William Goldsby, are also buried there. I have photos of their headstones
and that is why I requested hers. In doing research I have found that the memorial is INCORRECT!! I can't correct it because Find a Grave has it now. The problem Charles confused her and her mother. Her mother was Elizabeth MORRIS married Lewis Bingley then married Zachariah NANCE. Elizabeth and Lewis had Elizabeth and she married James Goldsby and that is the one I thought I requested EXCEPT Charles had her as Elizabeth Bingley Goldsby NANCE. So I actually want the headstone of Elizabeth Goldsby 09 Dec 1797 - 20 Oct 1840. As for Cary Nance his parents are buried there and I don't know if he is there or not I was only requesting the headstone based on the memorial. He may be buried there but no stone, damaged stone or even not a readable stone. I want to THANK YOU VERY MUCH for trying to fulfill my requests. I can't tell you how much I appreciate ALL the volunteers that are willing to walk cemeteries for photos for those of us that can't do it ourselves. THANKS AGAIN!!
