I could get plot locations.. cheryl

|Krista AQ Thompson||RE: Mary Newkirk|
I was inquiring specifically about the Mary Newkirk you requested a photo of in the East Norwalk Historical Cemetery. I took photos of the other Newkirks there, and, while I didn't see a Mary Newkirk, there was a Mary Kip buried in the same line. I did some digging, and found a Kip in New York whose will mentions Garrit Newkirk. May be no connection, but it has me curious!
Here's the will:
Page 350. (Written in Dutch language.)--In de Name Godes, Amen. I, HENDRICK KIP, of Fishkill, in Duchess County, December 12, 1751. I leave to my wife Jacomintie all estate during her widowhood. If she marries she shall have œ100. I leave to the son of my eldest brother Frederick œ5 for his birth right. To Mathew Sledt, my oldest sister's son, œ100. To Cornelius, the eldest son of Garrit Newkirk, œ100. I leave to my cousin Cornelius Newkirk, son of Jan Newkirk, all my real estate after the death of my wife. I make my friend, Jacob Du Bois, and Theodorus Cornelius Van Wyck, executors.

Do you have any information about her, perhaps her maiden name? I ask because the headstone grouped with Garrit, Amelia, and John Newkirk is for a "Mary Kip."
Hi! Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.
Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772
Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 150 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

|WingNut||Blain Union Cemetery|
I noticed your request for the Blain Union Cemetery in Perry County, PA. I visited on Saturday and tried to fulfill your request but could not. The reason so many stay unfulfilled in that region, I suppose, is because so many in that region have no up keep and a great deal of exposure. As such, they are nearly impossible to read at this point. I'm sorry if I was unable to fulfill your request. I am, however, trying to track down someone who may have a map of interment and would be willing to share without a fee.

You're very welcome.
|Melisa Cochran||RE: Info|
Well that's interesting. Fun facts like that are one of the reasons people like geneology!
|Melisa Cochran||RE: Sylvester E.|
You're welcome! I'm still working on the other Eppley's. Have to talk to the cemetery office about them to figure out where they are.
|Melisa Cochran||RE: Big Thanks|
You're welcome. No, I don't really know anything about my "tree" as I don't do genealogy, but my family consists of Cochrans, Barbers and Owens. (That I know of.) No Eppley's at all.
|Melisa Cochran||RE: Agnes Black Eppley|
Hi Doug, I'm going to be doing this next weekend, the 7th or so. If you want to send the entire list by then, I can see what I can do about getting it all filled at once. Thanks!
