I am a mother of two, and the older I get, the more I realize how important it is leave a legacy and to know your roots.

After my husband's grandfather passed, we realized he didn't know a thing about that side of the family--just nicknames & fuzzy faces. I decided then and there that I would write down everything I knew about my family and start asking questions about what I didn't know... I've learned some pretty amazing, and sometimes heart-wrenching, things about those that came before me and those that left way before they should have. There are many things I'm proud of and a few things I wish I didn't know. I guess that's a part of being human--we don't get to choose who we are related to.

My father has recently begun to help me manage the memorials by adding the photos and information that he has obtained from aunts, uncles, cousins etc. We've had two connections from individuals asking to transfer memorials that we would have otherwise never found...

We currently live in Texas, and I'd be happy to help anyone that has a request nearby. :)
