Bio

My name is Marvin Farris Hutcheson I live in Grandview,Johnson County Texas 76050. I was born in Kibbee, Ga Montgomery County. My first two years of school was in the kibbee school. I still have my second grade picture. I will always be a Georgia Boy at heart. Even though I'm in my 60s I still got a lot to do before I meet my maker. My Father was Marvin Grady Hutcheson B.Oct 25, 1922--D.Oct 14, 1991, my Mother is Magalene Whitaker Nov 13, 1927 I lost my mother on the 14 Feb 2014.I love finding out about my family history. One of the great things is finding kin from different lines of the family. The names that interest me the most is Hutcheson and different variations like ison, inson, enson, ing, eng, in, ins, the Durdens, Loves, Beasley, Millers, Hooks, Whitaker, Brantley, Matthew, Toler, Tyson-Tison. These are just some there are many more.
I would like to say something I hope it doesn't offend any one. Please when you post something make sure it is correct information for that person. The reason I'm saying this is cause I've made mistakes. We need to try and correct them and give good and trustful information to each other.I found something very interesting about the Hutchesons in 1746 there was a battle in Culloden ,Scotland where the Scottish Highlanders sided with Scotland and Prince the Pretender Charles Stuart against the English and lost over 3000 Highlanders and only about 50 English. After the war England sought the rest of the men who was against them and imprisoned them then sent them to America. They sent a few Hutchesons to North Carolina that fought and was in prison. They were sent to America as bond servants for seven years. Look up the Culloden war and the Donald Clam. Not the McDonald Clans but the Donald clan.
