Valentine Lopez Hi Martza, My mother's first husband was Valentin Lopez. They had two sons Adan Lopez who died in 2003 . He left a wife and an adopted daughter who still live in Brenham, TX. The second son, Everardo Lopez lives in Minnesota. Mom remarried after Valentin died and had two more children my brother and I. And even though my father never adopted Valentin's sons, he was the only father they knew since they were like 5 and 3 when their father died. They both go by Lopez. When I was a kid we would go to Corpus and visit with Juanita. I would call her Tia, too. I have a picture that I was once told that the man is Valentin. I would like to email it to you to see if any of your family can verity that it is Valentin.
Perez Don't know who did that but I was able to remove it. I don't do the research when someone links people I just hope they have. Beautiful picture of her, if she is family I'll be happy to transfer.
My name is Jeannette Stevens Bennett and I descend from the Chapa/Lozano family, my beloved grandmother was Tomasita Chapa, Ramon's sister.
One of my biggest regrets in life is that I did not compile historical information while the elders were still living. Hence, I have spent a great deal of time researching old records, etc. I wonder how you are related and would love to share information, if you have an interest.
In addition, my grandmother Tomasita married Bartolo Martinez, his mother was Maria de Jesus Arriola. Maria married Patricio Martinez in Saltillo; they end up living in Corpus. Maria's father was Encarnacion Arriola. Encarnacion's line is traceable up to Captain Juan Arriola Ramos and Maria Melendez.
If any of this speaks to you, let me hear from you.
