Bio and Links
Bio Photo Surnames I'm researching include: Daft, Kading, Gauslin, Moore, Thielen, O'Connor, Gotsche, Blake, Siebert, and Sturpett. I'd love to hear from anyone who thinks we might have a connection.

Here on Find A Grave, aside from working on my family, I've added photos at Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine and Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison. I have also submitted GPS coordinates and other corrections for various cemeteries in Wisconsin. I'm currently keeping an eye on new cemeteries added in Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth Counties.

If I've added a memorial for a family member or friend of yours, I would be happy to transfer it to you.

Feel free to use the photos I've taken however you would like, no need to ask permission.

Sure no problem and thanks for asking and giving credit, so many people don't.

RE: Rutt/Wright
I didn't realize their names couldn't be searched. I changed the last names to Rutt like the stone. Theodor kept the spelling to what they came to America with. His son Joseph used "Wright" another son, Christian used "Ritt". It can be confusing!!
thanks for your help, cousin!

I think Christian Ritt and his family are also buried in the same cemetery as Theo and Anna. Are you near the cemetery?

May I use your photos from the Theilen memorials? I would use them for my tree and I would credit you with them.

RE: Post-nominals

I have deleted Sr Gabrielle Hubert's memorial and I'll delete as soon as possible post-nominals from my memorials in order to simplify the researches.

Thank you very much

RE: Anton H. Van Gompel Photo
Andrew, you have my permission to use my photo for your Ancestry family tree. I only give it when asked beforehand, and request that you give me credit for taking it, too (please add my name and the year).

I do a lot of editing of my photos to bring out the contrast and color whenever possible. I've found that the photos uploaded to Find A Grave fade a bit! So, a photo that looks natural and fine in your computer's files will look a little lackluster on the memorial unless they are heavily edited.

Anton H. Van Gompel Photo
Hi Andrew,

I left a close-up photo of the inscription for Anton's stone, but since the memorial is managed by someone who also took a full headstone shot, I didn't want to step on any toes and add more of the same. FYI, the other side of the stone bears inscriptions for Richard M., Audrey M. and Henry B. Van Gompel. Richard also has a military plaque for the US Army/Korea.
