Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'd be happy to help others by taking pictures at local cemeteries of headstones, etc.

If I have added a relative of yours to one of the local cemeteries, and you want me to transfer ownership to you, just let me know.

And, I give permission to anyone to copy ANY image I have submitted for genealogy research, files, or data of their own; provided they do not misrepresent the data, person, or source. If you wish to give me credit for taking the photo that is fine with me, but not required.

We "talked" last, in Jan. when my G Grandfather's tombstone could not be found; you had looked at every tombstone and indicated that it couldn't be found. I located the cousin who purchased the tombstone and put it at the gravesite at Balch Cemetery in Alvarado several years ago. He said that the tombstone was small, maybe just a foot or so in length and was low to the ground. He said that if a person went into the cemetery past "Andy Johnston" that the Burt grave was there next to Andy. He wondered if someone mowing the cemetery laid the "F.M. Francis Marion Burt" tombstone flat to mow over it. Is there someone, like a President, of this cemetery I should contact? Contact local police? What do you suggest? My husband and I live in Houston, but could possibly drive to Alvarado later this week.
Thank you, again. Rhonda Burt

Thanks so very much for looking for my relative's tombstone, esp. when it was unsuccessful and you looked at so many names. It does say on his death certificate that he was buried in Alvarado TX on March 8, 1930 and the undertaker was Mr. J.F. Center. I appreciate your work more than words can say.
