|Any pictures of graves I take can be used on any site if you need them, you won't have to ask me. If it is a portrait of someone I have uploaded, please do ask if you can use it. A lot of the portraits I have uploaded have come from my family's collection of photos.|
Note: There aren't a whole lot of cemeteries close by me so therefore, I don't have a lot of grave photos unless I went to the cemetery.

I have passed along a few edits which you will find in the edit tab. Would you mind accepting them or I would be glad to have the Crockett memorial transferred to me. Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know that your suggested changes have been made for the above memorial.

If he was not moved, you might say the marker was looked for and is missing and ask if they replace it for free, since all the state ones are identical. Some of my family has bought markers for those who did not have them and those were cheaper than expected, but they were not in state plots, so I am not certain how those work. I wish you luck! There is a tiny little office at the cemetery, but no one was there when I was, so if the Clerk gives you no information, ask for the number of the tiny office or have them call. I was told by a local resident that the person who works there is nice. So he may know what is going on if the Clerk doesn't give you the best information. It was so small I am not certain there was a phone, but maybe it is cell phones anyway. Again, good luck. The spot he should have been in had no marker, that year looked to me like there were a number missing. So few for the year, a big empty spot vs the rows. So he may well be buried there and the marker is not there. Again, good luck!!!!

I just checked my email and saw that you tried to find my great grandfathers headstone for my photo request. Have you had the chance to ask if he is even there? His find a grave number is 49740669.
I did try and searched EVERYWHERE. I do not live in the town, had to go there anyway, so picked a few from this cemetery. The office was closed and I was told you can call the Arcadia Clerk of Records. I am unlikely to be in the town anytime soon again, so you can try to request again, maybe someone else will have luck, though I am skeptical bc where he should have been, as they are placed by year in the state plots had a section of no markers; as if they were missing near a tree, per my memory. I walked the entire state plot area and found no marker, even outside the year where it should have been. I was hoping it had been moved within the state plot area. My guess is that the marker was lost. They are small pieces of metal, with names. Looked and looked but found nothing. :( Unless he was moved by someone and paid for... it is unlikely there is anything. I would call the Arcadia Town Hall Clerk of Records and see if this might possibly be the case.

I would very much like to use your beautiful photograph of Gladys Marie (Dye) Harmon at my Ancesty.com website. Gladys Marie's husband, Erskine Mortimer Harmon, is a distant cousin of mine, both of us being descendants of Johann Melchior Kuney (d. 1806).
Thank you for your consideration.
