Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have to admit that I have been bitten by the genealogy bug! I love finding out information about my ancestors and being able to link it all together. Find A Grave has been a great resource for me and I have "met" many kind and generous volunteers.I am interested in researching the following family names:In Pennsylvania (mostly Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties)....Hoopes, Keohane, Sheridan, Palumbo, Mullen, Wright, Mays and Carr. In South Texas (mostly Hidalgo County)....Benitez, Solis, De Leon, Rodriguez, Zuniga.

RE: Patrick Sheridan #13876793 Holy Cross
I never got the link. I went back to Ancestry and checked family trees but couldn't find it. I've sent invitations to my tree before and the person never received it and vice versa, I don't know what happens. Anyway, I did know our Patrick's weren't the same but I check family trees anyway because if a patriarch of a family is named Patrick it was common to see several of his son's name their sons Patrick so I try to track my husband's Patrick down that way. It's hard but I keep running into roadblocks. I know he and his wife were married in Philly in 1897 and had a son in 1898 and in 1900 but I cannot find them anywhere in the 1900 census. I find them in 1910, 1920 and 1930 and I find the wife, Margaret in 1940 as a widow. So it would make sense that Patrick died between 1930 and 1940 but I cannot find any record. It is very strange and frustrating. I thought if I knew other people's background, I could find my husband's. But that isn't really working either, lol. Thank you for trying and for your information. Sometimes, even the way people get their sources can help so I keep trying.

RE: Patrick Sheridan #13876793 Holy Cross
My email address is treobie@comcast.net. My husband's Patrick Sheridan was married in Philadelphia to Maggie Kerns and she too was born in Ireland. I am also on Ancestry but I'm unable to find info because I don't have enough facts to search. When I saw your Patrick was from Donegal, I thought maybe my husband's oral history of County Mayo was incorrect?

Patrick Sheridan #13876793 Holy Cross
Hi, I was wondering how you came about the information that is on Patrick's memorial site. I am looking for my husband's great grandfather, also a Patrick Sheridan who was born, supposedly in County Mayo, Ireland. He was born sometime around 1865 and died between 1930 and 1940 as the last census he was in was 1930. Any help you can give me is welcomed and appreciated. Thank you!

Photos - St Denis Cemetery
Hi Sandie,
I posted photos of the grave site for Ellen Sheridan Bolger and Michael Bolger. I took the photos after getting information from the St. Denis cemetery office.
Ellen Sheridan Bolger and Michael Bolger are buried in the lot with the name "McSorley" on the grave stone. Their names are not inscribed on the grave stone.
Regards,
Bernadette K. Fay

RE: Mays Grave
Sandie,

Glad that I was able to assist. I was saddened to see the stone broken up and worn down. Wish it had been in better shape.
