|Bio and Links|
If I have created a memorial for any relative or acquaintance that you are more familiar with than me, I will gladly transfer ownership if you have something to add. That is the reason I began adding memorials, so people can find the individuals that were important in their lives or to help trace their family history. |
If you see any incorrect information please send me a note and I apologize in advance.
I make every effort to confirm any Bio information, but the genealogy / Census data is full of incorrect information and misspelled names. Sometimes it's much like putting a puzzle together and sometimes I do get it wrong. I like to try to close all possible loops and link to parents, children if at all possible. I'm sorry if the corrections that I frequently send are a nuisance, but it may help someone else trace their family roots just by adding a maiden name, place of birth, etc.
PLEASE use the Edit / Suggest Correction form on the memorial page to contact me. It helps me to keep suggestions and corrections in one place and my spam filter doesn't let unknowns through. MOST OF ALL.... if you have any obituary information, middle or maiden names or anything to help complete any memorial, please send to me. I would be more than happy to update with more complete information.
Help yourself to re-post any of my cemetery photos to your family tree... etc. If possible, just drop me a note to let me know that you used them. It's nice to know that they were of some use to someone.

|Jennifer Thompson||Find a Grave photos|
I am writing a two-volume book on the 8th Indiana. I would like to include photos of the soldiers and their headstones with their biographies. I would like to use some of your photos in the book and will give you credit in the caption for each photo. If you are interested, I can let you know when the book is published. If it is ok to use your photos, could you also give you your first and last name for the captions?

|Suzanne Barnard Smith||James Milas Thomas Memorial# 102264743|
I just noticed your message regarding my post to you on 6/14/14. I have the details below. I should have checked back on the page long before now.
Would you please add to the bio that James Milas Thomas Memorial# 102264743 and Mary Kathryn DeHart Thomas Memorial# 102264787 also had 2 daughters, Jean and Joyce M. (Thomas) Coil
Joyce is deceased Memorial# 95716577. I have put in a request to the owner of her memorial page to connect her to her parents.
Mary Kathryn was the youngest sister of my grandfather, Frank Russell DeHart.
Thank you for your help.
Suzanne Barnard Smith
|Cheri Bogowitz||Laura Ellen Sanders|
James W. Sanders is listed as her father. If he died in 1880 and Laura was born in 1884 this cannot be true. Did his widow, Susan, remarry and perhaps he became the father of Laura?

Your Sister in Christ,
|Dona (Carr) Mooring||Philip L Smith & Wife Nancy Ann Aye|
According to the Illinois death record for Nancy Ann Aye Smith she is buried at Tuscola, Douglas County, Illinois on 30 Oct 1922, but there isn't a cemetery mentioned. I noticed that you have done most of the memorials for this town, have you seen any sign of her or her husband Philip L Smith born in 1826 in Germany?
Thank for any help you can give me in locating which cemetery they are buried in. I would be glad to make phone calls if I know who to call.
Your Sister in Christ,

What a magnificent job you have done keeping this family together in Find A Grave. Your pictures are awesome. I am a distant cousin of the Iles family, but wanted to take a minute to let you know how much I appreciate your dedication and work. Thanks for everything you do.
