|I've been researching my family lines for the last three years. Usually during summer or winter breaks from University. I love to find any new information, stories, photos and more about my ancestors and others. I am currently researching: Petschl, Weiss, Gay/Guay, Abbott, Peary, Walker, Verkinderen, Van Damme, DeBel and Deswarte, to name a few. |
If I've made any mistakes on the memorials I manage, don't hesitate to tell me. I'm more then willing to add information.
If you would like me to add information, photos, obituaries, stories, etc. please ask, I would be glad to do so.
You may use any photograph I've taken but with the credit of AmandaO901. I ask that the photos to not be altered or sold without my consent. As I am personally growing quite tired of seeing my photos on ancestry sites, particularly ancestry.com without being cited. Please just write photo courtesy of AmandaO901.

She is in Section F3, wall block 4, space 8. My many searches have not found a marker for her though.

I sent you an edit for the birthdate for Elizabeth that I was able to get from the Mount Calvary cemetery when looking for her gravesite. I was going to post the picture of the location as well, which actually a little further left than the one now posted, but very close. If you go to your contributor tools and then the edit tab you can accept the edit for her birthdate.

Updating my previous note to you; I have found, thru Noel Decuyper (a relative of ours) in Belgium Leonia Vandermeeren's information and genealogy. See my Wikitree.com entries for her and her ancestors. Ginny Howard
Amanda, Next to Rosalvo Walker, there is a headstone for William Walker d. 1949 and his wife Mary Webster Walker. I put pix of their stone on their respective memorials. Pat

|Cathy Sutton||Bright family in Franklin, MA|
I found the Bright's plot in Union St Cemetary in Franklin, MA. They had a lot of kids. You might want to add the memorials for them and the dates of birth and death are on the monument that I have added for the parents. Take Care, Cathy

I have had no luck in finding our relative, Leonia (Vandermeeren) Deswarte birth or death info. I know her mothers name was Francis Ludovica Benoit and I still don't know her fathers first name. Have you any info? I have quite a lot of genealogy on all the Deswartes if you want any info, let me know.

Not a problem, just paying it forward...............
|Doug Woodhouse||Benjamin Abbott at Forest Hills|
Forest Hills Cemetery is over 275 acres, so we really need to know where in the cemetery the graves are located. There are other photo volunteers who will occasionally come through and "report a problem" with the photo requests that don't have location information, causing those requests to be deleted. I have seen this happen twice and have a big problem with the people who do this, but there doesn't seem to be much I can do about it. That said, please contact the cemetery to get the location of their graves (finding out what Avenue or Path they're on would be the most helpful) and update your photo requests once you find out.
|Dino||Hannah Locklin Abbott|
You have issued a photo request for Hannah Abbott, plot 1462, Crescent Ave., Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA.
This is an identifiable numbered plot of the Byron family which is her daughter's married name. There are a number of the Byron family buried here including her grandson Samuel A. Byron (1867-1949) and her great grandson Samuel E. Byron(1897-1948) as well as there spouses.
While I can find nothing relating to Hannah or her daughter, there is an old white marble marker whose inscription has been completely obliterated.
I certainly would be happy to take some photos, but they might not be what you may have had in mind.

|Doug Woodhouse||The Abbotts at Forest Hills|
I've been trying to fulfill as many photo requests as I can for Forest Hills Cemetery, since it is practically in my backyard, but the cemetery office will only look up the plot location of two names for free, charging a prohibitively high fee of $15 for every two names after the first two. Since the Cemetery grounds cover almost 300 acres, we really need to know the specific plot location to have any chance at all of finding it. I do know, however, that by calling the Forest Hills Cemetery office during business hours (617.524.0128) or by sending them an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) other people have been able to get the plot locations for free. If you find out the plot location, I'll be happy to photograph the headstone for you the next time I'm there. If you edit your photo request with this information other photo volunteers will be able to access it as well. Finding out what Path or Avenue they're on would be most helpful.
