I have been researching my paternal Foy-Hatch and maternal Davis-Sparks family members since June of 2006.

Although I was founder and Sysop of the Intercity Genealogy BBS in Richmond Virginia for 10 years, I was not really into family history research. I carried the NGS newsgroup for a fellow Sysops. In a moment of pure boredom with 3 weeks of after hours computer repair certification studies and test, I searched for the Matriarch of my Foy-Foye family in eastern North Carolina. With the help of a 1981 Foy Family Reunion program and the 1880 census, I found the family and have been hooked.

Hopefully, I can help make research a little easier for others by documenting, when found, the DOB-DOD and burial information of their love ones.
