Thank you for updating the memorials! I appreciate you and all that you do.

Patricia, Thank you for your quick response and the transfer. Thank you also for posting the memorial for Bertha on find-a-grave in the first place. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated by the family. Blessings always, Mary.

I am not related to anyone buried in Eldora. When I saw the donated list at the library, I just felt I wanted to stop working on my other projects at Find A Grave and put these memorials on. I have submitted a couple thousand and there is at least that many more. If you know ANYONE that may have family on this list, please let them know, I will gladly transfer any of the memorials.
I have transferred this memorial to you. I am in the process of adding a LARGE list of memorials to Eldora from a cemetery list that was contributed to our FamilySearch Library. If any of these memorials are your family, please let me know and I will transfer them to you. I am doing the list alphabetically and have submitted up to the H's. If you have people in the last part of this list, let me know and I will put them on.

I have deleted the duplicate.

I agree that Jemima was most likely born in 1757. However, her memorial page has a significant discrepancy, as it states her age as 83, and her death year as 1859. Mathwise, that puts her birth year c.1776. The unlikely 1859 d.o.d. appears in the 1928 gravestone transcription, probably as the result of the transcriber or the typist misreading a 3 for a 5. Another source does give the death year as 1839, however. I'd rather not link to problematic pages, and suggest that you consider asking the creator of Jemima's page to correct the date OR to create a new one yourself that's accurate. This would be justified, and not a case of duplication.

Hi again, Pat!
Sorry about the typo; both it and the bio are corrected. Was Jemima (1776-1859) his second wife? He was 25 when she was born, and would have been at least 50 when he married her.
