In doing some research on my own family ancestry I came across the Find A Grave website. It led me to be able to find my great-great-great grandfather on my fathers maternal side of the family. I became totally intrigued with what else I found and it has been so very helpful. I simply feel that if I could be helped in this way, I would like to do the same for others either looking for or just wanting to honor their own loved ones.
I am very new to this project and by no means a professional photographer. I feel though, that if I am going to do this I have to do the very best at it that I can. There for, I try to clean and maintain the headstone or marker before I take the photo. So much nicer to actually see what is on it. Hope this means something to those that I fulfill requests for.
