My number one reason for being here. I'm fairly new to Find A Grave but have grown to love it and am greatful to people who take the time to add the Obit's and memorials. So a big THANKS !
Find A Grave was instrumental in helping me find my Grandmother and her ancestors of which I have taken photos and started a huge archive of headstone pictures.
My family, for me, was broken early with the passing of my father, I was seven and a half years old. My mother remaried and we moved around a lot. I was not living in Michigan when my Grandmother passed and did not return for a funeral. It was just two years ago that I found her grave site (2012) and am happy to say, completed her headstone which did not have the complete year of death listed.
