My mother and her family were raised on the Mississippi coast and I lived in Biloxi, MS as a child off and on for 9 years. My father was from Picayune/Nicholson and was in the Air Force. We also lived in Hattiesburg and Jackson, MS. My first Air Force assignment was at Columbus AFB, Columbus, MS so I lived in Mississippi for a total of 17 years. I currently reside outside of Atlanta, GA, after retiring from the Air Force. I enjoy researching my family and have a desire to leave my children as much information as I can about their ancestry.
