I am a family history keeper who has researched and written a book chronicling my maternal family history and scrap-booked that family's history through pictures. On this side of the family my grandparents were 1912 immigrants of German descent from the Volga River area in Russia who settled in Oshkosh, WI as did many from their village. Their surnames were Fuchs(Fox) and Stang. On my paternal side, our Cartwright lineage has been traced and recorded back to our 1st ancestor to come to the "New World" in the mid 1660's and back to English and Welsh roots. I am located in central Wisconsin.
