Bio

Originally from the New York City-Long Island area and moved away many years ago.

I'm on a journey to find my ancestors and celebrate their lives. Like many Americans, most of my ancestors came to the U.S. poor and in search of a better life. Many of them struggled and worked very hard during their lives, so that future generations could succeed. Find A Grave and its members provide a wonderful service to help others find where their ancestors are interred and memorialize them.

Some of my ancestors immigrated to NYC in the mid-1800s from Ireland, Scotland, Germany, and Denmark. Surnames of interest: Weir, Robinson, O'Flaherty, Behrmann, Schultz, Schane(Schayne), Ferris.

Other ancestors immigrated to NYC in the late 1600s from the Netherlands, France, and England. Surnames of interest: Revere\DeRevere, Baisley, VanTine, Langdon, Vincent, Thompson.
