My direct lineages include Collins, Cunningham, Hopkins and Robinson. My husband's families are Franks, Morgan, Reid, Taylor.|
It's such a shame when loved ones resting places can not be found, but don't give up. In my quest to photograph local cemeteries, I have found many mistakes because some cemeteries have been entered using information taken from cemetery book in library, not by actually walking the cemetery. Many names are misspelled or entered wrong. A stone that appears to say one name can reveal something completely different if you have the luxury of returning when the sun is in a different position. I always do additional research for death certificate before I suggest an edit to the original creator of the memorial. So take heart, if you think your relative is in a cemetery, but you can not find them, try also searching their first name.
If I have entered your relative and you would like a transfer of their memorial, please send me a request. I have no desire to "own" a large number of memorials, I just want people to be able to find their relatives resting places. If you see a mistake I have made, or would like some addtional information added, just let me know, I will warn you that I probably will transfer the memorial to you if you have an interest in it. Please do not add obit information in flower section. You may send information or request using the message option, edit link or email with correct information, I will respond to all.
I have added some relatives that I have knowledge of but don't know where they are buried. If you have informaion of any of these, please let me know.
YOU MAY COPY OR USE ANY PICTURES I HAVE ADDED, (I WOULD HOPE THAT YOU DO THE SAME WITH YOURS).

LOVELY headstone photo! Thank you so much for taking the time to get the "snapshot" :)

Thank you, Kathy, for the info on the photographs taken in that cemetery. Maybe Jennie is lost to me forever :(
What is a "toddie"? I always thought that was a alcohol/drink? :)

Okay, Kathy, you peaked my interest, LOL, so I went to look and found Kristy has created memorials for their two young children and I invite you to take a look at memorial 93968853; which is shocking! Now I know why it is so hard for me to lose weight, DNA! :)
What do you make of that?
|Ms Martie Martin||infant graves|
I further note that Sarah (Crider) and Jesse Fox had 2 children that died at a "very young age".
Probably doesn't help but thought I'd let you know.
|Ms Martie Martin||RE: John Wade|
Hi, Kathy; Good to hear from you :)
I show John buried in West Plaines; 22039944 memorial created by Coleah.
As for the the infant graves; couldn't tell you. Not much info in my family history books and, unfortunately, no one to ask that would probably remember :(
I do show Spencer & Belle had 10 children but only Emma, Sarah, Jennie (my grandmother), and Walter survived; all the rest died under the age of six; unknown if they were even named.
Hope some of this helps!
If you happen to run across a grave for Jennie (Jenny) Robinson; PLEASE let me know! However, I have grown up with being told she died in Oklahoma....maybe she got buried in MO???? MYSTERY!

Do you visit the local cemeteries in Howell County very often? I'm looking for Bragg family members in the county. If you happen to come across any headstones for a Bragg would you make note and send a photo? I'd appreciate it so very much... Next time I'm in Peace Valley for a visit I'll take you for coffee!! I would be appreciative!!

I did notice the death date of Wilma Lee Yocham Collins and just doesn't seem correct. There are two very small family trees on Ancestry.com for Wilma Lee Yocham. Both of trees have her death date, April 1979 Howell Co, MO. Birth date of 10 Feb 1932 Pottersville, Howell, MO. I have looked for her social security death index information with death date of April, 1979, but can't find it.
I do find another Wilma L. Collins b.24 Jan 1919 & died 27 Oct 1993, last residence West Plains, Howell, PA. The only thing that is possible is the creator of this memorial was looking for a death date to add. See looked at the S.S.D.I. and used the wrong date of the wrong Wilma. I found the marriage license for this Wilma born in 1919. I think she is Lois Dollins that married a Henry Collins on 14 Feb 1934, Howell Co, MO. This Wilma went by Lois W. Collins on the 1930 & 1940 census. I did find her in a city directory in West Plains, Howell, MO using the name Wilma Collins with birth date of 24 Jan 1919 living at 1055 6th street.
I really think this is your relative, Wilma Lee Yocham Collins because the clue on the marker with maiden name, Yocham. Just the wrong death date.
Let me know what you can find out? Hope this can help you. I am related through Mary Rosabelle Yocham McDaniel, James William Yocham's half-sister.
